Founded in 2010, Ressence represents an independent way of thinking about fine watchmaking, expertly crafted but with a modern approach to design and aesthetics. Founder Benoît Mintiens considered what a watch might look like if it were a 21st Century invention, the results are truly stunning. In 2011, Ressence patented a fully in-house movement 'ROCS' which featured in the Zero Series and in 2013 Ressence won the Horological Revelation prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève for the Type 3, the first ever oil filled watch. An invention that eliminates refraction between the dial and crystal, allowing legibility from all angles. Introducing the Type 2G from Ressence.
