Pre-owned Panerai Luminor Tourbillon GMT ref PAM00767 (2017). Panerai released the first Lo Scienziato Luminor 1950 Tourbillon GMT in 2016, making it one of the first examples of a 3D-printed watch in the high-end space. A few years later, the brand would release the Panerai PAM0767 for sale here with a similar design but with a blue rehaut and blue strap details to match the striking blue hands. There are a few things to get excited about here. First is the openwork dial, which gives us a view of the geometric base plate and unique tourbillon, which rotates on an axis perpendicular to the balance wheel and in half the time of a regular 1-minute tourbillon. And then there's the 3D-printed case, which is made via direct metal laser sintering that stacks layers of .2mm thin powdered titanium using a fiber-optic laser to create the complex, hollowed-out case you see here. This watch is incredibly exclusive, not just for Panerai but in the entire watchmaking realm. Only 150 were made, and we have one available now; just waiting for a collector who can truly appreciate the innovation and craft required to make such a unique timepiece.
