This spirited collection embodies Blancpain’s passion for the underwater world, originating from the presentation of the first modern diver’s watch in 1953. Today, the collection retains the core signature elements that established the legendary model as the archetypal diver’s watch, updated with innovative materials and new technical solutions to push boundaries and meet even the most sophisticated diving needs. This all-black Bathyscaphe model is presented in a 43.6mm ceramic case with a unidirectional, satin-brushed black ceramic bezel. Prioritising legibility without compromising the sophisticated aesthetic, the brushed black dial is equipped with white luminescent hands and hour markers and a date display, while the black sail-canvas strap offers an additional nod to the timepiece’s rich ocean heritage. Power and precision are provided by the 1315 automatic movement, with a 120-hour power reserve and water resistance to 30 bar (300 metres).
