The deep navy dial, derived from Théo de Gueltzl’s Robe Légère silk scarf, showcases the intricate art of paillonné enamelling. This technique creates a shimmering, layered effect by embedding delicate silver spangles between layers of translucent enamel. The dial comes to life with a silver-embroidered horse, seemingly rearing and swirling in the wind in a delicate, floral motif. The process involves painstaking enamel work, with colored glass powders applied, fired, and then decorated with silver leaf details. The 38mm white gold case is set with 71 diamonds and houses the Hermès H1912 movement, encapsulating both the Hermès’s watchmaking expertise and craftsmanship. The Hermès Arceau Robe Légère is fitted with an alligator leather strap in matte abyss blue and is limited to 24 pieces.
