The DBD Evergreen by De Bethune, unveiled at Dubai Watch Week 2023, is a limited edition timepiece with only 20 pieces available. Inspired by the significance of green in Middle Eastern culture, this watch blends elegance and complexity. Its unique features include a manually wound triple linear calendar, digital time display, and a green dial with Côtes de Genève decoration, housed in a lightweight, polished grade 5 titanium case. The design incorporates a crown at 12 o’clock and ogive-shaped lugs, complementing the modern, futuristic style. The watch showcases De Bethune’s reverence for 18th-century horology, with art-deco apertures displaying the day, date, and month, and a separate area for jumping hours and jumping minutes. A significant innovation is the Geneva Stripes motif on the dial. The DBD Evergreen is powered by the mechanical caliber DB2044, vibrating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and features the latest titanium balance wheel with gray gold inserts and a triple parachute system. It is protected by a double anti-reflective sapphire crystal. The DBD Evergreen comes with a two-tone beige and green textile strap, along with a black alligator strap, each enhancing its distinctiveness.
