The Arnold & Son Time Pyramid 42.5 collection has expanded with new models featuring a redesigned 42.5 mm diameter case and a blue aventurine glass case back. The watches are available in red gold (5N) and platinum (PT950), with color accents on the hours and minutes dials. The design boasts a vertical arrangement of the watch’s inner workings, inspired by 1830s timepieces. The movement, reminiscent of a pyramid or an anchor, is skeletonized and visible through the case, which is 10.72 mm thick. Unique design elements include a crown at 6 o’clock and a non-traditional symmetrical layout. The case back features aventurine glass, embedded with copper inclusions, a material with origins in Venice’s glassmaking tradition. When not worn, the watch allows light to pass through, creating interplays of transparency and color. The dial features alternating gold-plated and NAC-treated finishes, with Côtes de Genève stripes. The Time Pyramid’s structure is intentionally exposed, showcasing the movement, finishes, and the screw balance at 12 o’clock. The caliber A&S1615, developed in-house, includes dual power-reserve indicators and boasts a 90-hour operating time without rewinding.
