Cyrus Genève is back doing what it does best, pushing boundaries, with the Klepcys Vertical Tourbillon Jasper, unveiled at Watches and Wonders 2026. Limited to just five pieces, it’s a bold, sculptural object that combines high watchmaking with raw natural beauty. The updated 42.5 mm grade 5 titanium case keeps the signature cushion shape and twin crowns but wears more comfortably than before. It’s still unmistakably Cyrus, just slightly more refined on the wrist. A domed sapphire crystal opens up the view, while the black alligator strap keeps things grounded and wearable. Front and center is the vertical tourbillon, angled at 90 degrees and impossible to ignore. It’s not just there for show either, this setup actually improves chronometric stability by keeping the regulating organ upright more often on the wrist. Framing it is a beautifully finished arched bridge, inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, adding real architectural drama. The dial is split into two with retrograde hours on the left and minutes on the right, both brought to life with jasper stone inserts. The result is a dial that feels alive, textured, organic, and completely unique every single time. Inside, the CYR625 manual movement delivers the muscle. With 344 components, over 100 hours of power reserve, and a one-minute rotating tourbillon cage, it’s serious watchmaking through and through. The finishing is sharp, modern, and full of detail, from polished bevels to dark contrasting elements. A power reserve display at 12 o’clock rounds things off neatly. This is a statement piece for collectors who like their horology bold, technical, and just a little bit rebellious.
