Armin Strom introduces a new Dual Time GMT Resonance in 18K rose gold, bringing a richer tone to one of its most technical creations. The 39 mm case appears in this metal for the first time, giving the watch a warmer, more formal presence while keeping its bold, open architecture. Rose gold-coloured hands and applied indexes stand out clearly against the dark grenage dial. Two black azurage chapter rings separate the time displays for instant readability. Fitted on an anthracite alligator strap with grey stitching, the watch keeps its instrument-like clarity. Powering it is the hand-wound manufacture calibre ARF22, fully designed and produced in-house. Its key feature is a patented resonance clutch that links two independent regulating systems so their balance wheels run in sync. This constant interaction stabilizes performance and creates a striking kinetic display on the dial side. Each time zone has its own hours, minutes, and day/night indicator, making it practical for frequent travelers. The movement runs at 3.5 Hz and delivers a 42-hour power reserve, turning the rare resonance principle into a useful and reliable complication. The movement is visible through sapphire crystals on both sides and showcases extensive hand finishing. Mirror polishing, hand-finished bevels, circular graining, perlage, and Geneva stripes give the calibre strong visual depth. Engraved sun and moon day/night indicators add detail and symmetry. Like every Armin Strom watch, this model is assembled twice to ensure precision and finishing quality. Limited to 50 pieces worldwide, it stands as a focused statement of independent, high-end watchmaking.
