Krayon introduces the PAC-MAN Watch Series, a bold and playful limited edition of just 15 unique platinum timepieces, each featuring its own distinctive dial and powered by the acclaimed Anywhere movement. Mixing up Haute Horology with pop culture, this release reflects a confident evolution for the brand, one that embraces creativity without compromising mechanical excellence. Designed as a Métiers d’Art creation by Fei Hou, alongside Krayon founder Rémi Maillat, the collection draws on shared childhood nostalgia rooted in the iconic PAC-MAN universe. At its core, the PAC-MAN series reimagines Krayon’s signature Anywhere complication, which displays sunrise and sunset times anywhere in the world. Here, the traditional sun indicator is transformed into PAC-MAN himself, moving around the dial as a dynamic day-night display. Gameplay elements such as dots, fruits, and ghosts are integrated into the mechanism through layered rotating discs, creating a living, animated dial. The “great cookie” marks sunset, while at midnight, the ghosts turn blue before returning to their original colours at dawn—subtle details that mirror both the game and natural time cycles. This innovative concept perfectly aligns with Krayon’s philosophy of connecting time with human experience. Aesthetically, the watch remains faithful to the original 1980 PAC-MAN design, featuring a deep black onyx dial with a delicately printed maze that reveals itself under light. Hand-painted elements float across the dial, ensuring each piece is entirely unique. The 39mm platinum case, houses a level of finishing consistent with Krayon’s most advanced creations. Combining nostalgia, artistry, and precision, the Krayon PAC-MAN Watch Series is a rare fusion of playful storytelling and serious watchmaking, marking a fresh and expressive chapter for the independent Swiss brand.
