Limited to just 20 pieces, the TYPE 9 S75 features a dial made with real sand collected equally from all seven Emirates. Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi, CEO of Ahmed Seddiqi, and Benoît Mintiens, founder of Ressence, collected the sand themselves during a desert trip — a symbolic gesture that reflects the spirit of their partnership. Mintiens describes the watch as a modern interpretation of the hourglass, with its domed dial echoing the soft curves of sand dunes. With a case that weighs only 40 grams, the TYPE 9 S75 brings together nature, tradition, and contemporary watchmaking in a compact and elegant form. While visually simple, the TYPE 9 S75 is full of refined details. It shows only hours and minutes using Ressence’s signature ROCS system, with a titanium bezel that serves as the minute indicator.
