Few timepieces in modern horology can genuinely be described as unlike anything else, and the Genus GNS1.2 is the rare exception. Launching with an unprecedented, hands-free display that took the industry by surprise, it instantly secured the prestigious GPHG Mechanical Exception Award in 2019. Its highly intricate openworked dial showcases twelve revolving, self-reorienting hour satellites lining its perimeter; a small disk at the conventional 3 o'clock position for precise single-minute interpretation; and, most captivatingly, Genus's patented "8-path" display. Here, a chain of rotating gemstones continuously carries the tens-of-minutes indication around a figure-eight track. The immensely complex display requires hundreds of specially developed components to coordinate the constantly changing indications. Driving it is Genus's hand-finished, in-house 18k gold caliber, consisting of 418 components and beautifully finished throughout. Genus is among the rarest names in modern independent watchmaking, with an annual production of around 25 to 30 pieces. This unique GNS1.2 Gems edition represents both absolute rarity and one of the most visually compelling executions the brand has produced. It would be a crown jewel in any serious collection. •Guaranteed to be 100% authentic. •Bespoke, unique specification for an important client. •In-house, award-winning 18k gold manual-winding movement, intricately and highly finished, consisting of 418 parts and featuring a large balance wheel. •Damascene Titanium case and generously domed sapphire crystal •Very comfortable, balanced, and ergonomic case dimensions •Watch only; the client who traded this in did not supply the box and papers. Comes with 3 total Genus straps. •We highly recommend watching a video of this movement in action! •All functions are operating as intended. The watch is running very well. •••COSMETIC CONDITION••• Overall: Excellent, pre-owned condition. It is absolutely stunning on the wrist! The watch in very presentable condition overall. The titanium surfaces show only a few isolated, minor superficial signs of wear that blend naturally with the metal's variations and do not detract from its appearance on the wrist. The crystals are clean. The white strap is in great, lightly-used condition. The orange and blue straps have little to no signs of use. A secure, efficient, transparent transaction is a top priority. It would be my pleasure to answer any additional questions you may have. Luxury timepiece trade-ins are welcomed! Now located in Miami, FL.
