For sale is a circa 2000–2005 Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Perpetual Calendar men’s automatic wristwatch, reference 140.8.80.S. The watch was recently serviced directly by the manufacturer, Jaeger-LeCoultre, in May 2026. During the service, they performed a complete overhaul, polished the case, bezel, and clasp, installed a new dial, new hands, new crown, new pusher, fitted a brand new black alligator strap, and backed the watch with a 2-year manufacturer warranty valid through May 2028. The watch is 100% authentic and genuine throughout, and it runs and functions perfectly within factory specifications. Condition: The watch was professionally polished by Jaeger-LeCoultre, and they did an excellent job. However, being pre-owned, there may be a couple of very minor scuffs visible upon close inspection. The dial, hands, and sapphire crystal remain in excellent condition. The current strap fitted to the watch is brand new and unworn. The watch as a whole has remained unworn since returning from service. Note: The original older strap is also included and was sealed and returned to us by JLC, though it is in very poor condition. Features: Perpetual calendar, push/pull crown, stainless steel case, clasp, and buckle, original JLC two-piece black leather strap, and a Jaeger-LeCoultre Cal. 889/440-2 automatic movement with 50 jewels and approximately 38 hours of power reserve. Sizing: Approximately 37mm in diameter, 19mm lug width, 43.3mm lug-to-lug, and 9.3mm thick. The strap runs fairly small and will fit up to about a 7.25-inch wrist max when worn on the last hole. Shipping: Free within the USA; international shipping is $100. Import fees and taxes are required to be paid by the buyer. Returns: Accepted within 3 days. The item must be returned in the same condition as sold. All returns are subject to inspection prior to approval. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
