Released as part of special collections celebrating Canadian heritage, it combines the rugged specifications of a military-issue timepiece with the historical "ADANAC" (Canada spelled backward) branding. Key Specifications Movement: Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 (Marathon M2) automatic movement with 26 jewels. Case: 41mm diameter, 14mm thickness, made of 316L stainless steel with a brushed finish. Water Resistance: Rated for 30 ATM (300 meters / 1,000 feet), suitable for professional diving. Lume: Features tritium gas tubes on the hour markers and hands for constant visibility in low light, plus MaraGlo on the 12 o'clock bezel triangle. Crystal: Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Dial: A "Polar" or Arctic White dial, often featuring a unique Red Maple Leaf applique at the 6 o'clock position to signify Canadian pride. The "ADANAC" Legacy The name "ADANAC" is historically significant to Marathon Watch, appearing on watches originally issued to the Canadian and U.S. militaries in the late 1980s. While the standard GSAR is a core part of their GSAR Collection, the ADANAC editions are typically highly restricted: 2024 Edition: An "Arctic Red Maple GSAR" limited to 157 pieces. Still has most of its protective package stickers on. I put it on my wrist but the braclet needed probably needed 4 links or to for my wrist, I never got it resized.
