USA SALES ONLY! The moral of the story: don’t meet your heroes. When I got into watches, large platform watches like this were it. U-Boat, Panerai, big IWC fleigers and divers. Back then I couldn’t afford the big names but things like Sinn U1s and the like crept in and out of the collection. The Glycine Lagunare was always on my radar but it never found its way into my collection. Until about 2 years ago. Purchased it from a used watch seller here on Crono24 and was ecstatic. Came on a disgusting used leather band that I swapped for the current one you see here. Confident that my nearly 8in wrist would be able to deal with the diameter: and I was right. Mostly. The watch looks phenomenal and does wear large. Too large though. I’m always aware of it on my wrist. It induces a sort of…paranoia of everything around me. Counters, door knobs, you name it. So, instead of letting waste time in the box, it’s time for it to go a new home. I’m quite sure it’ll be a long time, if ever, before the watch community sees something like it again. It will attract attention from both laymen and watch people. The watch is in very good condition. You can see pin pricks and fine lines here and there on the case because it was worn quite often for about a year and a half. Take a look and if you have any questions, please let me know.
