This is a rare gem in excellent condition (considering it is 53 years old), fully functional, spent 10+ months at JLC being serviced and comes with an extract from the archives. This was the second ever dive watch from JLC to feature the Memovox alarm complication, and this particular blue dial was destined for the US market (hence LeCoultre on the dial and not Jaeger LeCoultre), whereas the grey and red dials were for the EU market. In its prime, it had 100m of water resistance. It features a 120 click bi-directional bezel with excellent action, and a Caliber 916 automatic alarm movement with two barrels (one for the alarm, and one for time keeping), with two crowns to operate the alarm mechanism and time respectively. The history of this watch is unknown until I purchased it. But since then I had it fully serviced by JLC ($1700) and received it back a few months ago, after which it has been unworn/unused. I also requested an Extract from the archives, which as an additional $400. This sale includes the watch, a Delugs Rubberized Leather Strap (blue) 19mm, a vintage JLC HGP Memovox box - I was told this was the original box, and it seems that way, but I haven't been able to verify this, the extract, service documents, and a JLC service pouch with pillow. See gallery for all included items. The condition is very good for a vintage watch. I've tried my best to capture the condition of the watch with my macro lens. Please see the gallery for an accurate representation.
