The oil cancels out light refraction and makes the watch readable from any angle, providing a clear and crisp display that is essential for divers. Meeting Diver's Watch Standards The TYPE 5 L meets the rigorous ISO 6425 standard required for underwater exploration, adhering to the highest levels of safety and reliability. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters (10 ATM). It also passed tests of magnetic and shock resilience, among others.
