Sono presenti la plastica protettiva sul fondello e la targettina Sofior, dettagli rari e molto apprezzati in ambito collezionistico. Vetro dalla forma molto particolare, con geometria quasi squadrata. Consiglio di osservare attentamente le foto per coglierne il design. Quadrante marrone soleil molto raro, elegante e caldo, con una resa alla luce tipica degli anni ’70. Online si trovano soprattutto versioni acciaio/oro, più cariche e meno raffinate rispetto a questa configurazione. Sofior nasce dalla volontà della gioielleria Sofia di Messina, che negli anni ’70 realizzava le casse e vi alloggiava movimenti di manifattura svizzera. Purchased by me as NOS several years ago. The protective plastic on the caseback and the original Sofior hang tag are still present, rare details highly valued by collectors. The crystal features a very distinctive shape, with an almost squared geometry. Careful inspection of the photos is recommended to fully appreciate the design. Rare brown sunburst dial, warm and elegant, with a light effect typical of 1970s watches. Most examples found online feature steel and gold combinations, often heavier and less refined than this configuration. Sofior was created by the Sofia jewelry store in Messina, which in the 1970s produced the cases and fitted them with Swiss-manufactured movements. An original and uncommon piece. A great addition to a 1970s vintage watch collection.
