This watch was previously owned and is sold as-is. The niello engraving on the back cover is particularly fine and well-preserved. The Swiss 18K hallmark on the inner dust cover confirms solid 18-karat gold throughout. An ideal piece for collectors of Victorian-era jewelry watches or 18K gold antiques. Swiss 18K guarantee stamp (navette/oval poinçon) on inner dust cover. Swiss 18K guarantee stamp (navette/oval poinçon) on inner dust cover. Hard to tell, I´m not an expert. Seems like finely hand-engraved with dense floral niello decoration and central monogram cartouche. Black Roman numerals with outer minute track and white enamel in excellent condition. Key-wind, key-set (key not included). Cylinder typical of quality Swiss/French production c.1850–1870. But that is a guess based on similar watches I found on the internet. Plate might be gilded brass with striped (barleycorn) finish. Hand-engraved with floral decoration. Ruby jewels. Cant find any signature on the movement. Might be Swiss/French trade production of this era. Case is very good for age no major dents or damage. Dial is excellent, no cracks or chips visible. Not tested or winded for timekeeping accuracy, sold as collector’s piece. Last owner said it is working but there is no key to wind it.
