Dial Variant | ETA 2452 Seldom-seen Swiss vintage diver from the late 1960s/early 1970s, presented in its rarest dial configuration: the “stardust” yellow with black-and-white bi-colour minute track. The yellow dial variant is essentially unobtainable on the open market — and the photos confirm why: the tropical-gold centre disc with contrasting white chapter ring is visually striking in person. Case & Dial 40mm stainless steel case, never polished, retaining its original sunburst finishing. Screw-down crown marked Monvis. Screw-down case back. Bidirectional rotating Bakelite bezel — intact, no cracks, showing normal wear consistent with age. Tritium lume on indices and hands, beautifully aged and still active. Date at 3 o’clock. Movement Automatic ETA 2452. Running and keeping time. Service history unknown; water resistance not tested or guaranteed. Condition Worn but honest. No case polishing. Bezel intact. Dial original. Comes on the original black rally-style rubber strap (20mm lug width). No box, no papers. Provenance Acquired via Italian private seller. A genuine sleeper — Monvis Seamagnum 400s rarely surface in any configuration, and the yellow dial is the standout variant of the line.
