Condition 1 (very good) - Beautiful Tavannes chronograph from the 1940's, the staybrite steel case 38mm diameter excluding the crown, has the 189190 patent (granted to Schmitz Freres in 1937, it made the case water resistant with the method of the 4 screws compressing the case back and glass to the middle part, see last photo), in the fodello is still present the serial number 6592-66, very rare Tavannes manual winding movement ref. 4001 numbered 2483 in excellent condition, very clean and fully functional, the glass has no scratches and the dial with the three colored scales is beautiful. the watch comes with black Nato strap.
