Still under warranty, in perfect condition Full package Sold to fund another purchase Trade-in for a Breitling possible Description For this limited-edition watch, Michel Herbelin is premiering a new Swiss-made caliber: the Sellita SW400-1. Identical to the SW200-1 in terms of precision, reliability, and robustness, it nevertheless features an enlarged diameter of 31 mm, better suited to large cases (40 to 46 mm). This eliminates the need for a case ring (which isn’t always aesthetically pleasing) while allowing for a large open case back. Otherwise, this automatic mechanical movement features a standard power reserve of 38 hours. Inspired by the modern architecture of stealth ships, the Newport Skeleton features a 42-mm stainless steel case with an anthracite gray PVD coating. Polished and brushed to highlight its three-faceted design, it frames a conical crown, notched for a better grip. Matching the case, the bezel—engraved with the collection’s name—features five hexagonal screws, identical to the winch cores on a sailboat. Evooking, in a thoroughly modern way, the design elements that made the Newport a success—central bracelet attachments, a porthole-style bezel, and a stamped ship’s wheel on the crown—this new timepiece remains true to its maritime heritage. Rounding out the design, the black nickel hour and minute hands—created specifically for Michel Herbelin—mark the passage of time in sync with the central seconds hand. Partially coated with luminescent material, much like the bold hour markers set against the brushed blue flange encircled by a minute track, they ensure precise and legible time-reading in all conditions. Water-resistant to 100 meters and designed to be worn in action, the Newport Squelette is fitted with an FKM rubber strap that is extremely tear-resistant. Carefully crafted with finishes designed for comfort on the wrist, the strap was specifically designed to extend the line of the central lug all the way to the buckle. With a smooth, glossy blue finish, it perfectly complements the sporty-chic style of this sleekly designed timepiece. 42 mm case in 316L stainless steel with a polished and brushed anthracite gray PVD coating .
