The new model, “Big Date Chrono,” showcases the date through two separate, larger digits positioned directly at the 12 o’clock mark. Unlike traditional date displays that feature a single digit, the “Big Date Chrono” allows for precise representation of the date, showing numbers from 01 to 31. This larger display not only enhances functionality but also adds a unique aesthetic and a sportier vibe to the watch. The mechanics of the “Big Date Chrono” necessitate a sophisticated movement to synchronize and accurately move the two digits. The Alexander Shorokhoff watch manufactory employs the reliable Swiss automatic chronograph movement Dubois-Dépraz DD4500. This movement offers exceptional precision, along with a stopwatch function and a luminous mother-of-pearl hour display at the 6 o’clock position. Additionally, it features a power reserve of 42 hours, complemented by a hand-engraved rotor. The overall design of the new automatic model is both avant-garde and sporty. In its first version, the orange center of the dial beautifully complements the orange calf leather strap. A second color variant showcases striking yellow and green accents. The two subdials at the 3 and 9 o’clock positions are dynamically designed, featuring sporty, square numerals, while the hands exhibit a distinctive shape that emphasizes the watch’s modern aesthetic.
