Kelek, a Swiss watch manufacturer founded in 1896 is historically significant for its role in developing high-quality mechanical watches, and its collaboration with Breitling. Breitling's acquisition of Kelek in the late 1990'sh. Owning Breitling enhanced its product by producing movements in the Kelek facility using Kelek's expertise in movements, improving the quality and complexity of Breitling's movements. Kelek ownership had worked closely with Breitling over the years, jointly developing and producing complicated chronograph watches for Breitling before being purchased by Breitling in 2002. This watch was produced sometime in the late 1990's to early 2000's. This is truly a watch that is rare and will enhance any watch collection.
