Sternenhimmel No. 11 The watch was ordered and manufactured in Fall 2021. This example is so early in the production of the Sternenhimmel that some of the design elements we now take for granted had yet to materialise. The dial is made from a brass disc, which Felipe himself hand-coated with layers of blue satin lacquer, a light dusting of white paint particles, a name plaque and VVS diamonds at 3-6-9. The lance hands have a finely brushed matte finish, which matches the finish of the case. The bezel is high polish and so is the crown. The movement is based on the ETA Unitas 6497, which serves as a platform for many of Felipe’s projects. Originally offered in three different finishing grades, this early example features the basic option complete with elaborate hand-finishing: broad, convex anglage, snailing on crown and ratchet wheels, and rhodium-treated main plates. The watch comes with original certificate and box (which was still without FP branding at the time) and a new leather strap. The watch is in absolutely great aesthetic and mechanical condition. The coming-of-age story of Felipe Pikullik and his team is taking place in real-time and at an unprecedented speed. No watch embodies this astronomic rise more than Felipe’s first foray into ‘serial’ production, the Sternenhimmel, and here is a chance to own one of the very first examples from the master's hand.
