Mulco wrist chronograph, reference 278-106 with two-counter chronograph. Case gold capped and dial show signs of time. Mulco was a watch brand established in 1931 by Mühlmatter & Grimm of La Chaux-de-Fonds. It remained active through 1995. This company founded by that operated from the 1940s to the 1970s. They have built many perfectly functioning watches with the characteristic incredibly strong heartbeat found in this era of Valjoux chronographs, enhanced by the resonance of the thin gold case, which is manufactured, rather than machine-worked, giving it a light weight and hollow lugs. This hollow-loop construction, plus the natural noise of these movements, makes the slow ticking, by today's standards, of 18,000 alternations per hour audible at arm's length, and it still beats loudly after 70 years and more. I am a private individual, collector and enthusiast of vintage Watch. I do not offer discounts after sale, nor do I accept refunds. I ship with assured and fast shipping.
