The watch features a new bezel system, to help prevent accidental rotation. During normal operations the bezel is locked, but to rotate it, you first need to press it down and you can then move it bidirectionally. The insert of the bezel is scratch resistant sapphire. Which is of course very practical given the 300m water resistance.
