This is No. 20 of 90 – see engraving. This model pays homage to the legendary Fortis Super Compressor diving watches of the 1960s/70s and was manufactured with original parts from the production run at that time. Historical background The Fortis Super Compressor was originally designed by Ervin Piquerez s.a. (epsa) and was a technical highlight among diving watches in the 1960s. To mark the company's 90th anniversary in 2002, Fortis released a limited edition reissue using original NOS components from the company archives – these models are therefore not reinterpretations, but genuine Fortis time capsules. Scope of delivery - Fortis Super Compressor 90th Anniversary Ref. 037.10.47 - Matching black rubber strap. The original leather strap has become brittle over time and has torn. However, it is included with the original Fortis clasp. - Fortis box and documents (I am the original owner of the watch and purchased it in Düsseldorf in 2002).
