Mid century secret watch in 18K gold and platinum, an extravagant jewelry masterpiece which certainly won't go unnoticed. Manufactured by Jean Bondt who also worked for Boucheron and Sterlé. They also made a nearly identical watch for Gaucherand. The "case" is shaped like a horseshoe, the lid design picks up the bracelet construction and features a bar in platinum, set with 54 single cut diamonds, totalling circa 1 carat. The lid is suspended by a spring and pops open when pressing the discreet little button on the left side of the case. It reveals a small salmon colored dial with applied hour markes and a recessed 12 and 6 arabic numeral. The turbogas / snake link bracelet is really flexible and wears comfortably. It features the typical slide lock and has an addiatonal safety flap. It will fit wrists up to circa 17,5 cm. At 17,5 cm it will stay on your wrist without sliding down but still isn't too tight. I consulted with my goldsmith, lenghtening and shorting it is possible. The movement is an AS 976, which is running well. Originally it was a basic "Renna" signed AS 976, which was later upgraded with a "Dugena" signed AS 976 wich has some technical improvements and a nicer finish. Without the movement and crystal the watch weighs 76 grams. The watch of course comes with a proper invoice and as a EU-customer you have a 14-day legal right to cancel, as well as a legal 1-year warranty. In accordance with § 25 UStG, VAT is not shown.
