In the Open Date version, the date ring is completely exposed, giving the dial both structure and depth. The current date can be read below the 12 o’clock position. Silberstein has not reinvented the MeisterSinger needle-shaped single hand, but interpreted it powerfully and strikingly in a typical Silberstein red.
