The company history of Roamer began in 1888 when Fritz Meyer started the production of watch parts in Solothurn, Switzerland. As the company Meyer & Stüdeli, the mst quality movements were manufactured from 1905. Later, the production of cases and dials was added. In 1952, the company was given its current brand name Roamer. At times, up to 1,200 employees worked in production, generating a turnover of 43 million Swiss francs. The company founders were also active in the social sector and set up facilities such as crèches, leisure rooms and a canteen, which was not a matter of course at the time. Today, the model collections mainly comprise classic, traditional and elegant models, which are equipped with both quartz movements and mechanical Swiss movements. Roamer can now look back on over 125 years of company history. The Searock model offered here is the brand's classic, which was produced in the early 1970s and is still being developed as a stylish companion today. The simple case with rounded edges gives the watch a sporty touch. With this watch, you are acquiring a gem of Swiss watch production in a good state of preservation, which comes in an attractive neutral watch box. The watch has been cleaned, oiled and checked for accuracy by a watchmaker and is still running reliably.
