Minase DIVIDO VM04 URUSHI is a masterful blend of Japanese innovation and exquisite craftsmanship. At the heart of this timepiece is the patented "Minase Original Rebuilding Equation" (MORE), a unique structure that allows watchmakers to repeatedly assemble and disassemble the exterior parts, such as the case and bracelet, for easy refitting or repair. Inspired by Japanese 3D puzzles, the case-in-case construction encloses the mechanical movement between a plate and a top container, creating a floating inner box that is secured at the four corners. Minase recently upgraded the Divido Collection to its 2.0 version, while the 1.0 version featured the previous movement ETA 2824. The VM04 URUSHI case is made of 316L stainless steel with a domed box-type sapphire crystal on top and a see-through sapphire case back. This sophisticated design offers water resistance up to 50 meters (5 Bar). The movement, KT7001/1, has a power reserve of 38 hours and is a Swiss ebauches, customized by Minase with hand-made polishing and perlage on plates and bridges. The watch has a diameter of 40.5mm and features a copper-stamped, hand-lacquered blue dial with polished steel indexes and hands, both of which are luminous.
