This is a tropical dial Omega Speedmaster 145.012-67SP. It comes with an Omega steel bracelet 1175/640 with original Omega end links and a No. 12 clasp as well as an Omega extract of the archives. The bracelet is the last to have side grooves along the clasp cover and and is a beautiful brother of the 1039/516 bracelet. The serial number is in the range of 26.54X.XXX dating back to 1968. As stated in the Extract of the Archive, this watch was initially delivered to the United States. I bought this watch from its first owner who wore it rarely and bought it in September 1968. The tropical dial is very subtle at this point since the watch has rarely been worn and therefore has not been objected to UV radiation for a long, regular time. It is however seen beautifully when sunlight is bright, as seen in one of the pictures. The dial is in excellent condition with its original tritium indices and the original set of hands with full tritium mass still attached, developing a creamy patina. The bezel is an original Omega DD70 bezel, also referred to as a DON bezel in impeccable condition, rarely seen. The Calibre 321 has been serviced 2019 by Omega. The case is original and made by Huguenin Frères for Omega. The crown is the original 24-teeth Omega crown and the hesalite crystal has the Omega logo etched on the inside, making it an original Omega crystal of the time of production.
