Vintage Peltier Swiss men's watch, 1980s, excellent condition. Black rubber strap. Bi-color steel - gold. Only 5 mm thin. Bottom embossing: fond acier etanche controle 3 atu swiss made 60042 Very nice elegant watch, which harmoniously combines the black of the dial and bracelet with the gold of the attached bezel, which shows the slightly recessed Roman hour numerals in black. The very fine seconds with shiny round indication of each 5th are also in gold, with the respective 5 mark almost looking like an inset stone. Additionally, the small conical hole to the date is also in gold. The accent to the surrounding steel case with longitudinal bevelling is set by the inset gold crown. Visually a bit like Hublot mdm, but in my eyes a much more elegant design. Peltier is the watch brand of the watchmaker, jeweler and jewelry designer f. Pelletier & Cie. in 2732 Reconvilier , Switzerland. Extremely rare object of a watch brand known only to absolute insiders and hardly found today. Peltier produced only smallest numbers of the individual models. Despite intensive internet research, I have not found a second model of this watch. Needs new battery. Function guaranteed.
