A stunning circa 2010 Victorinox Swiss Army "Infantry" Vintage automatic chronograph date Swiss watch. Presents a multi-layered gunmetal gray dial having chrome hour, minute, subs-seconds and chrono hands. All hands, as well as the hour numerals are, lumed for night time viewing (see pic). The hands are driven by an ETA-Valjoux caliber 7750 movement. The chrono sub-dials are each outlined with a chrome ring to match the chrome hands. The dial's center portion is raised above an attractive, fluted back-dial; all surrounded by an attractive telemeter. The watch's crown is signed, while the date window is stylishly located at the six o'clock position. The dial and movement are housed in a rugged, stainless steel signed case coated in scratch-resistant gun-metal gray to match the dial. A scratch and glare resistant sapphire crystal allows for viewing the dial and hands while a display back on the case allows for viewing the movement. A signed grey leather strap having a signed deployment buckle wraps the case. The leather strap has some minor scuff's at the buckle where the strap rubbed against a desk-top when worn. The scuffs are not visible during normal where because they are located on the underside of the wrist when worn. Nonetheless, the new owner is welcome to apply a grey shoe polish or dye to make them less visible. A very close examination of the case indicates some minuscule nicks in the case's outer perimeter above the twelve-o'clock marker and another above the three o'clock position. Finally, there is a minuscule nick in the edge of the display back at about the eleven o'clock position. Each nick is arguably difficult to see but for a close examination (see pics). Approx. dimensions: case diameter is 44 mm; case thickness is 15 mm; lug-to-lug length is 50 mm; and width between lugs is 22 mm. The watch works great, as a sophisticated, top-shelf chronograph should. I wore this watch sparingly over a single summer. Now it is time for someone else to enjoy it.
