hanhart Flyback Chronograph Cal. 41, 39 mm manual-winding watch (measured without the crown). Reference number: Cal. 41 Age: ca. 1950 Rare Hanhart featuring the Caliber 41 with flyback function. The Caliber 41 (2 pushers) was also used in various Bundeswehr Hanhart models, just like its sister caliber, the Caliber 40 (1 pusher). Here, however, it is not housed in a Bundeswehr case but rather presented in a luxurious and elegant design. Despite being around 75 years old, the watch currently measures approximately 39 mm in diameter, allowing it to look perfect on the wrist. In our test on the chronometer, it ran very well at around -4 seconds per day with an amplitude of over 340 degrees. Please do not expect chronograph-level accuracy, however; such an old movement runs slightly slower or faster depending on how tightly it is wound. All functions are in perfect working order; the chronograph resets cleanly, and the reset mechanism, including the flyback function, works perfectly. Beautiful, age-appropriate condition. The dial and hands are original, unrestored, and thus feature patina. The gold plating on the case appears well-preserved at first glance, but is already scuffed on the pushers and crown and worn on the lower right side (below the crown and pushers). The watch is fitted with a neutral alligator leather strap with a gold-plated buckle. For shipments outside the EU, we unfortunately must remove the strap due to the international species protection agreement, as it is considered "exotic leather." Buyers from the EU and, of course, Germany will receive the watch on the strap shown in the photo. All watches are in stock, so please contact us in advance if you wish to view them. You will, of course, receive a proper invoice for your watch.
