1972 Autavia Ref. 73663MH chronograph manual-winding watch, 42 mm (measured without the crown)! Reference number: 73663MH Date of first purchase: January 28, 1972 (Germany) Beautiful 1972 Heuer Autavia 73663MH. Everything on the watch is original, with the exception of the leather strap. There are no swapped or replaced parts. Rare "mh" version, meaning it features a "Minute Hour" bezel instead of the usual tachymeter bezel. The bezel has a beautiful bluish tint (ghost bezel), which suits the watch very well. Original tritium dial with tritium hands, both in excellent condition. Good condition with only slight cosmetic signs of wear and scratches, as the watch has largely not been polished. The original sunburst finish on the front of the watch is well-preserved. Unfortunately, the box and original sales receipt are no longer available; however, there is a repair invoice from the original owner dated February 1995 from Tag Heuer, as well as a handwritten note regarding the watch indicating January 28, 1972, as the date of purchase. The watch measures a sporty 42 mm, so despite being over 55 years old, it still has a contemporary size today. A new Hirsch Racing leather strap with a pin buckle is fitted to the watch. Inside the watch is the Heuer Valjoux 7736 manual-winding caliber. The watch runs reliably with a deviation of +/- 30 seconds per day. All functions are in perfect working order; the chronograph resets cleanly, and the reset mechanism works perfectly. The date of the last service is unknown; therefore, a service is strongly recommended, even though all functions are working flawlessly.
