Lemania Chronograph 105 Military Officers Tropical Dial Antichoc Antimagnetic Tahymetre WW2 Swiss Made Lemania was a Swiss watch and movement manufacturer. It was founded in 1884 by Alfred Lugrin, who had trained at the legendary Jaeger-LeCoultre and who went on to receive awards and gold medals at exhibitions in Milan in 1906 and in Berne in 1914. Lugrin's company produced quite a few movements for Omega, including the groundbreaking caliber 321 that powered Buzz Aldrin’s Speedmaster. As the first part of the Heuer/ Lemania story detailed, Heuer was actually owned by a consortium involving Lemania for a few short years before being sold to TAG in 1984/5. This relationship explains why there were so many Heuer models using the Lemania 5100 movement in the early 1980s In Great Working Condition, Keep Very Accurate Time. Just recently was serviced.
