Here is a 1947 Eterna Triple Calendar Chronograph, in pristine condition and equipped with the legendary Valjoux 72C movement. It is already very difficult to find chronographs from this era in very good condition; finding one in near-new condition, completely original, and never polished is nearly impossible. Its magnificent lugs, with their perfectly angular shapes and a combination of mirror-polished and brushed finishes, are simply stunning. More importantly, the case is entirely original and has never been polished, thus preserving its perfectly sharp edges and period finishes. The dial, in exceptional condition, is equally remarkable, with its elegant gold mirror-finished hour markers that perfectly complement the gold hands. The blue date numerals, paired with the central date hand, provide a superb contrast and add a great deal of character to the overall design. The Valjoux 72C movement, signed by Eterna, is also in remarkable condition. The case back, which is also fully preserved, rounds out this exceptional timepiece. If you’re looking for a truly exceptional vintage chronograph—perfectly preserved, entirely original, and highly collectible—this one could very well be yours.
