On behalf of a customer, we present a rare Croton CASD Chronograph Reference 105-525. This is a late Chronomaster version powered by a Valjoux Cal. 7733, shown on page 270 of the “Chronomaster Only” book.   Designed during the golden age of tool watches, the Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver (or CASD for short) was marketed to the American market under the brand name Croton as a do-it-all chronograph that could keep pace with pilots, divers, and adventurers alike. Its versatility wasn't just for show. With a rotating bezel, tachymeter scale, and a Valjoux movement, the Chronomaster offered genuine functionality across land, sea, and air.  SPECIFICATIONS: CONDITION REPORT; please refer to the high-resolution pictures to assess the condition of the watch.  MODEL / REFERENCE: Croton Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver – (CASD), ref. 105/525 . Inventory Number GR-10  CONDITION REPORT; please refer to the high-resolution pictures to assess the condition of the watch.   DIAL+HANDS:  Silver Panda-dial with recessed subdials and tritium markers. The dial is in excellent and original condition with only minimal signs of aging. The imprint is crisp and complete.   Hands: original and correct hour, minute and chronograph second hand. The tritium lume on the hands has aged to a beige hue.   Lume: The tritium lume indexes are all present. When activated with UV light, the lume on the dial and hands glow briefly, and then fade off.  CRYSTAL: Plexy crystal in good condition with minor surface marks  BEZEL: aluminium bezel insert in good overall condition with some surface scuffs.   CASE & CASEBACK: 38 mm stainless steel case in with signs of use. Lug-to-Lug, the case measures approx. 44mm.  The surface remains in good overall condition, with normal signs of wear commensurate with age and no major dings or scuffs.The stainless steel case back is signed inside and out.   CROWN:  original and correct crown.   MOVEMENT: signed hand-wound Valjoux 773. The movement is clean and has been checked. All functions operate as intended and the movement keeps good  time.  STRAP:  black strap with a generic stainless-steel pin-buckle.   ACCESSORIES: Saffiano Leather watch roll.   WARRANTY: We guarantee the authenticity of the watch.
