The fragments undergo laser cutting and shaping to define their contours, with CNC engraving enhancing their natural grain. The treatments preserve the hues while accentuating depth, texture, and subtle contrast. A sculpted relief of Mount Everest and its elevation, coated with Swiss Super-LumiNova C1, offers a stunning highlight. Although fragile—where even the slightest adjustment risks fracturing it—the stone, through 30 days of patient refinement, is transformed into a finely honed dial. Refined over 120 days, the creation features the in-house developed manual-winding caliber CD-05, a rare central tourbillon, one of the most complex feats of watchmaking. Centered, its steady movement captures the balance of resilience and precision shared by mountaineering and watchmaking. Four mainsprings provide a 120-hour power reserve, while 33 jewels and bevels, flamed and sandblasted, finish the mechanism. Here, time ascends—turning endlessly at the pinnacle of design.
