[Consignment] The "Wackman" brand originated from the "American Breitling Watch Company" (commonly known as "Breitling USA"), which was established in New York in 1947 as a joint venture with Breitling. This company traces its roots back to the "Wackman Watch Company," which began operations in 1943 as an authorized Breitling dealer in Portugal. This is a model from around the 1970s, known for being worn by Clint Eastwood, who played Robert Kincaid in the 1995 film "The Bridges of Madison County."This timepiece features a stainless steel case measuring approximately 47 x 42 mm, paired with a blue dial featuring a multicolored regatta scale and a day-of-the-week ring around the outer edge. By operating the crown at the 10 o’clock position to link the day-of-the-week ring with the date on the inner date ring, the day of the week for that month can be quickly confirmed. It is equipped with the Lemania automatic chronograph caliber “1341.” [Condition] The strap shows signs of wear. The engraving on the case back has faded slightly. The crystal has scratches and internal cracks around the edges; the crown has impact marks; the dial has paint peeling and damage; and the luminous coating on the hands has discoloration and cracks. As this is a vintage watch, there are other signs of aging and general wear, but it is in good condition for a vintage timepiece.
