Berg and Bergana watches were manufactured by the Wilhelm Beutter company, which was founded in Pforzheim in 1909. After the company was destroyed during World War II, his sons Wilhelm and Eugen rebuilt it in Rosenfeld (Zollernalbkreis). The company became well-known in the 1970s and 1980s for the watches it produced for the German television lottery “Ein Platz an der Sonne.” The product line included high-quality wristwatches with Swiss and Pforzheim movements. In 1949, the company was registered under the name Amado. Watch production ceased in the mid-1990s. Today, the company focuses on the production of precision mechanical components for aviation, medical technology, defense technology, and mechanical engineering. With the watch offered here, you have the opportunity to purchase a well-preserved example of German watchmaking that was raffled off in the “Ein Platz an der Sonne” TV lottery. The watch comes in a vintage box. Here you have the opportunity to purchase a vintage watch in good condition.
