This wonderful dial is made of 67 individual parts, painted, lumed, and press-fit together by hand. The assembly of the dial can be considered an almost artisanal process. Each dial requires 6 hours of assembly. The dial is topographical in its design and the ridges and valleys give definition to the hour markers. Each dial plate is hand-painted with lacquer infused with Super-LumiNova, while the hour and minute hands feature lozenge-shaped lume blocks that glow vividly. The dial is really mesmerising to look at and provides utmost enjoyment even when viewed under a loupe. Featuring quite possibly the world’s first vertical gradient dial in a shift of grey to black across 9 layers, Projekt 02 Variant B is a limited edition of 299 pieces.
