Open to sensible offers. This is a classic mid-century Omega, powered by the reliable manual wind Omega calibre 265 movement (17 jewels), part of Omega’s highly regarded 30mm movement family. The watch features a clean silver dial with applied hour markers and a small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock — an elegant and timeless design typical of the early 1950s. The solid 9ct gold case is hallmarked “375” and shows light, even wear consistent with age, retaining its original character. The caseback features a period engraved monogram along with the date: “1-5-53” — likely commemorating a special occasion such as a gift or milestone. The movement is signed Omega, clearly marked calibre 265, with movement serial number: 12,458,527 This serial dates the watch to approximately 1950–1951, aligning well with the period of the engraving. The watch winds, sets, and runs. Service history is unknown, so a service may be considered for optimal accuracy if desired. It is fitted to a brown leather strap with gold-tone buckle. This is a genuine vintage Omega with excellent presence — understated, elegant, and historically consistent.
